At the end of 2009 we upgraded two of our main networks in a big way. Capacity has been increased typically 9 fold. This upgrade has been in planning for some time and the rate of customer take up meant now was the time to get it done so we have a scalable future proof solution.

The new feed system means we can now provide faster Up and Download speed services if requested. Speeds of 24Mbps+ (50 Mbps+! aggregate* ) are possible**

Kijoma has provided Spam, Virus and Malicious email filtering as part of its Email services since 2005. Now we have invested further and upgraded this to cover the full Zen service from www.Spamhaus.org . This should result in even less spam and phishing emails getting through, even on those email addresses that have got into spammers databases in a big way. NOTE: This is only on email addresses supplied by Kijoma, third party email services are not filtered.

We have had coverage of this area advertised for over a year now but recent technological advancements mean this will be our first network area to provide the next generation of wireless speed. Forget the few Mbps of mobile, the endless promise of Wimax with a few more Mbps, Kijoma will be offering Download speeds of 50Mbps and upload speeds of 20 Mbps or more on this network with sub 10ms latency and high MoS for VoIP.

There is much talk about the Carter report on provision of broadband with 2 Mbps minimum speed to all by 2012.. Normal telephone line broadband ADSL methods mean people all get different speeds regardless of paying for "up to 8 Mbps".. ALL customers using the Kijoma broadband wireless system get in excess of 2 Mbps , regardless of geography and therefore we meet the objectives of the report.
